We offer a private no-obligation interview with Dr Zarate, in which he will ask you about your health goals and in turn you can take a tour of the office and ask questions about Zarate Medical. If you choose to become a member, you will be given a membership form and health questionnaire to complete and you will receive a welcome packet. Our membership packet includes Dr.Zarate’s contact information, e-mail address and information regarding house or office calls. As a member of Zarate Medical, you will find that we become your healthcare advocate in the pursuit of optimum health. Our focus is on providing a superior personalized program for each individual to attain that optimum health; we believe that superior care starts with preventive care. Guidance and recommendations for the management of your health concerns or goals are personalized to you. Whether it’s losing weight, controlling blood pressure or coping with stress, you will get a personalized prescription to help you reach whatever goals you have. We encourage you to schedule your annual physical as soon as you become a member so your personalized program can begin! Once you complete the annual physical, you will receive a health summary on a mini-CD ROM that you then own as part of your personal records. Convenient and expeditious service to our patients is of paramount importance to us; we strive to make your medical healthcare needs our number one priority.
About Dr. Ignacio Zarate Dr. Zarate is a trusted patient advocate with over 14 years of experience in Orange County; he is fully prepared to help you navigate the complex healthcare system.
Dr Zarate is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, California and Orange County Medical Associations, American Academy of Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians and Society of Orange County Emergency Physicians. He has served many roles in the local community hospital system: Emergency Department Attending Physician, Quality Assurance Director, Emergency Medical Services Coordinator and ultimately Emergency Services Medical Director. Having dealt with numerous roles, he is fully aware of the intricacies of what quality care for patients truly means. He is also keenly aware of the frustrations resulting from insurance company’s red tape and production line medical care. As a consequence, he decided to do more to make a difference in people’s lives by offering premier medical services the old fashion way, by putting the doctor back into the doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Zarate pursued the Concierge Program so that he could practice medicine in a way that is optimal for both doctors and patients. Dr. Zarate’s patients receive extensive personal attention and state-of-the-art medical care in a comfortable relaxing environment or depending on your urgent needs in the serenity and privacy of your own home or office. He is a graduate of the UC Irvine School of Medicine and completed the Emergency Medicine Residency at UC Irvine Medical Center in 1996 at which time he was nominated by the staff as “Chief Resident of the Year”, in recognition for his dedicated hard work & quality care for patients.
